I was thinking…

A certain small press where the editors seemed to like my book passed on it because of publishing commitments through 2012. When I told friends about this “good” rejection, the most common response I got was something like, “And did you ask about getting your book published by them after 2012?”

For me, that’s a pretty far leap into the future. I mean, will I still be around?
